Ronaldo will give his hotels to free hospitals
Portuguese football player Cristiano Ronaldo has contributed to the fight against coronavirus. He announced that he would give his hotels in Portugal to hospitals for free, reports Marca.
Juventus forward will pay not only for the hotel equipment, but also the salary of doctors who will work there. Two hotels located in Lisbon and Madeira will be converted for treatment with coronavirus.
Ronaldo is currently in quarantine at his home in Madeira. He made this decision after the coronavirus was detected in his teammate Daniele Rugani. Yet Ronaldo is not planning to return to Italy yet, where the virus is spreading very actively.
Currently, Portugal has recorded 169 cases of coronavirus infection.
